KMPlayer adalah aplikasi multi media player dapat menjalankan file media apapun karna memiliki codec internal dan didukung juga codec external. selain itu kmplayer mendukung suara format MPEG1, 2, AAC, WMA 7, 8, OGG dan memiliki fungsi matrix/normalize ketika suara internal Codec sedang digunakan. Codec Internal mendapat diproses dalam KMPlayer jadi lebih cepat. KMPlayer juga mendukung semua Codec dari ffdshow dan ia selain itu mendukung MPEG1/2.
